Current news on Covid19

The Corona crisis has confronted many industries with new challenges. Among others also the fair and events industry. Nevertheless, Messezentrum Salzburg has risen to the occasion and is facing up to the new situation.

We are monitoring the current situation very closely and are in close contact with the responsible authorities of the province of Salzburg. We are implementing all recommendations, guidelines and measures, because the health and well-being of our visitors, partners and employees are our top priority.

Shared Responsibility

In order to make your visit to the Messezentrum Salzburg as safe as possible, we have established appropriate hygiene measures. We ask you to exercise your own responsibility at the fair for the safety of everyone.

  • Admission to our events can only be granted to vaccinated, tested or recovered persons with valid proof!
  • PCR tests are valid for 72 hours, antigen tests for 48 hours and self-tests for 24 hours.
  • FFP-2 mask is obligatory in all indoor areas
  • 1 meter minimum distance to all persons not living in the same household with you
  • No handshakes
  • Wash and disinfect hands regularly. Contactless dispensers are available throughout the exhibition grounds.
  • Cough and sneeze into the crook of your arm

In case of illness, please do not visit the fair in the interest of everyone's health and safety.

If you are already on site and suddenly feel ill, please dial 1450 immediately or contact the on-site medical team.

As organisers, we do our best to provide you with safe fairs, great experiences and valuable contacts at the same time. We have re-planned the fairs for your safety:

  • Separate entrances and exits
  • Extra wide aisles
  • Maximum fresh air supply in the halls
  • Protections in constricted areas
  • Disinfection dispensers throughout the halls
  • Increased cleaning frequency for all sanitary areas and contact surfaces
